All shears are fully reconditioned and carefully tested on multiple types of media to ensure consistent, precise performance. High-end Japanese-style (honed) shears feature a convex edge and are typically crafted from premium stainless steel for superior durability and cutting accuracy, and all convex edge shears are professionally sharpened using a Wolff Industries sharpening system.

Pet Grooming Scissors and Shears

All shears are fully reconditioned and thoroughly tested using several types of test media, including imitation animal fur, to ensure smooth, accurate cutting performance. Both convex and bevel edge shears are completely disassembled, with each blade individually sharpened and precisely reassembled. Any damaged or worn components are replaced when available, including bumpers, finger tangs (where applicable), and pivot parts, to restore optimal function and longevity.
Clipper Blades

All clipper blades are sharpened using the same process employed at the factory. Most blades require a precision hollow grind, which we achieve using specialized equipment designed to hone blades to factory specifications. Each blade is carefully disassembled, with all components kept organized in aluminum trays to ensure parts remain together and are never mixed. The blades are sharpened until the entire cutting surface is fully honed, restoring a clean, new cutting edge.

I apply precise angles and polished edges for excellent cutting performance.
All knives and cutlery are sharpened with a professional sharpening system, using quality materials to ensure the metal integrity is not effected. All knives are tested upon completion using multiple media and have to pass the sharpness test of being able to push-cut a very thin piece of paper.

Woodworking tools such as chisels, gouges and v-tools need to be sharpened with care and precision with minimal material removed. Angles are applied to the specific tool using jigs that prevent error and create exceptional sharpness.

Pruning shears, garden loppers, shovels etc. are disassembled and sharpened and reassembled and adjusted to give many more years of use.
Straight Razors

Straight razor honing begins with inspection for cracks or general maintenance indicators. The honing process is done using the highest quality materials such as belgium coticules and rare Japanese natural whetstones to ensure the edge is honed to a keen smooth sharpeness.
